“The shoemaker without shoes”
This well-known Polish proverb captures an ironic truth: even the most skilled craftsman can neglect their own needs. A talented professional might overlook their personal brand or appearance, yet still attract new clients. But does that really build a consistent and trustworthy image?

These days, there are countless platforms where creatives can showcase their work and build visibility. However, for digital creators—those who continuously produce content, design assets, or other digital products—not having a self-designed personal website has always struck me as incomplete.

To me, owning a portfolio site feels a lot like building your own home. It’s not just a space to show off your skills; it’s a place that reflects who you are and evolves with you. It requires care, attention, and ongoing development—but the result is something uniquely yours.
